Official contest rules and regulations
By entering the Glasslake Funding, ULC “Lakeside Luxury Voucher” Contest (the “Contest”), entrants agree to abide by these Official Contest Rules and Regulations (the “Rules”) and the decision of Glasslake Funding, ULC (the “Sponsor”), which are final and binding.
Contest period
The Contest begins at 09:01 a.m. Eastern Time on September 13, 2023 and ends at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on December 14, 2023.
Eligibility
The Contest is open to Canadian residents in Ontario, Alberta, or British Columbia who are (i) Canadian residents for tax purposes; and (ii) of the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence as of the date of entry. Void where prohibited. Employees of Glasslake Funding, ULC will not be eligible for an entry to this contest. No purchase is necessary to enter the Contest.
To generate your entry to the contest:
1. You must be following Glasslake Funding on LinkedIn
2.You must submit a mortgage application to Glasslake Funding, ULC between September 13, 2023 and December 14, 2023, and receive a commitment for that application
3. Your application must fund by December 31, 2023
All entries (mortgage applications) must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on December 14, 2023 to be eligible. Each applications received will have it’s own ballot
The prize
The winner will receive one (1) $5,000 Gift Card (Canadian dollars) via email to redeem for a stay at Il Sereno Lago Di Como Hotel . To receive the prize, the Contest winner must satisfy all eligibility requirements, answer a skill testing question and sign a prize acknowledgement and release. Hotel gift card remains valid for 12 months from the date it's awarded to the winner and cannot be exchanged for cash (as per hotel hotel terms & conditions). If requested, winner has the option to redeem the (1) $5,000 Gift Card (Canadian dollars) for a travel voucher to Flight Centre in lieu of the hotel gift card.
Contest draw
A random draw will be conducted from among all eligible entries received during the Contest Period on January 5, 2024. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Contest period.
Selection of winner
The selected entrant will be contacted by a representative of Glasslake Funding, ULC by email or phone, and the selected entrant must reply within 3 business days to maintain eligibility.
If the potential winner cannot be contacted within this time period, or fails to respond to any attempted contact, or is ineligible for the prize, such potential winner will be disqualified and the selected entry will be declared null and void. Glasslake Funding ULC reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to select at random another eligible entry, in which event these provisions shall apply to such other eligible entry. In order to win, the selected winner must correctly answer a skill testing question.
Privacy agreement
Any personal information collected will be handled in strict accordance with the Glasslake Funding, ULC Privacy Code and all applicable privacy legislation from LinkedIn. By entering this Contest, the entrant hereby consents to the Sponsor’s collection, use and disclosure of the entrant’s personal information in order to manage and administer this Contest.
Agreement
The act of entering the Contest constitutes acceptance of the Contest rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which decisions shall be final and binding upon all entrants. Glasslake Funding,ULC reserves the right to cancel or modify the Contest or the Contest Rules at any time without notice. By entering the contest, the entrant agrees that all submissions may be edited for length and clarity and used by the Sponsor for marketing purposes. All prizes must be accepted as awarded and cannot be exchanged for anything else.
Applicable laws
This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws. Except where prohibited by law, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of the Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the substantive laws of the Province of Ontario, Alberta or British Columbia without regard to Ontario, Alberta or British Columbia conflicts of law principles. All entrants consent to the jurisdiction and venue of the Province of Ontario, Alberta or British Columbia.
